Mission statement for The Infection Control Nurses of Connecticut
Our mission is to provide leadership through the state board of directors to promote evidence based infection prevention and control practices to nurses in varied practice settings with an emphasis on long term care. Our goal is to reduce the risk of infection to our residents, patients, families and staff; to strengthen collaborative ties with local and state health departments; to provide educational opportunities and develop protocols and guidelines related to infection prevention and control.
