Kris is the Communicable Disease Prevention Supervisor for Ledge Light Health District. A nurse for over 40 years, she has had a varied career from critical care/trauma to running clinics in Saudi Arabia. She has taught at the University of Connecticut and the University of Hartford. Kris lectures extensively on infection prevention, communicable diseases and emergency preparedness. Kris is an active member of the Eastern CT Chapter and was the previous ICNC Board President in 2010-2012. Kris is also a member of APIC and the Connecticut Association of Public Health Nurses.

Donna Wade, RN 
Treasurer 
Donna has a B.S. degree in Health Care Administration/A.S. degree in Nursing. She just recently retired from nursing after 42 years holding positions in infection control, staff development, quality assurance and DNS. Currently she works part-time in a family business which allows time for her to indulge in interests that include gardening, crocheting, weaving and canine foster mom.

Jennifer received her ASN from Gateway Community College in 2011.  Her great desire to learn, share her knowledge with others as well as her approachable, even-tempered personality was recognized by her Director of Nursing (DNS). In 2012 she was approached by the DNS who offered her, her current position as staff development/infection prevention wound care nurse at The Guilford House, a skilled nursing facility. Jennifer’s long term career goal is to continue her education in infection prevention and to pursue her Master’s degree in nursing education/administration.

Laurie Neudecker D’Aquila has more than 25 years of experience in Infection Prevention in LTC, Behavioral Health, Addiction and Substance Abuse, Emergency Management and EMS.Laurie has received certification in Infection Control and is a member of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology where she has held offices at the regional and national levels. She is a member of the Infection Control Nurses of CT, Connecticut Hospital Association and the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. She serves as an officer on the East Haddam Ambulance Association Board of Directors.
Laurie is the founder and president of Infection Prevention Consultants, LLC since 2011. She currently teaches a four day course Infection Prevention and Control in the Healthcare Setting for Infection Preventionists. Laurie is also Subject Matter Expert for the Centers for Disease Control infection prevention in the LTCFs.
